This report provides a global overview of Plan’s development programmes during 2006-2007 (FY07). It is based on a desk review of the Country Programme Progress Reports for FY07 as prepared by the 49 programme countries, as well as a selection of evaluation reports that became available during the same period. The report describes Plan’s programme approach and highlights some of the key results and successes during FY07 as well as some of the lessons learnt.

The study was conducted over a 1 year period from July 2003 to June 2004, and it was funded by Plan Nederlands.

Tsunami 24 Months After report cover

Plan and the 2004 Tsunami
Plan’s country offices in Asia were closely involved with supporting the recovery of communities after the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami which affected Thailand, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and India. This unique series of reports details Plan’s approach to working with communities, and in particular Plan’s efforts to ensure that children were active participants in the reconstruction of their communities.
