Many children in developing countries are denied the right to protect themselves against HIV. With over 2,000,000 children worldwide infected, the international community needs to find smarter ways of tackling this issue.
Plan's approach focuses on involving children, and addressing their priority concerns.
Plan works with partners and communities across Africa, Asia and the Americas to:
- help prevent the spread of HIV
- provide care and support to those living with HIV and AIDS
- reduce ignorance and prejudice against those living with the disease
