Learning

Helping children, youth and adults learn and develop life skills

Although in many parts of the country the education system is good, much remains to be done to ensure that children receive a high-quality primary school education. Many teachers have low training levels and low self-esteem, which badly affects the learning capacity of the children and results in high dropout rates.

To improve the situation, we organised training courses for 69 teachers and educational supervisors.  Changes in both teachers and students are already being seen in the classroom, with over 1,410 students benefiting directly.
