About our work in El Salvador
Plan has been part of the effort to rebuild El Salvador, which was still recovering from two devastating earthquakes in early 2001.  Although much of the damage has been repaired, many challenges remain.

Plan has been working in El Salvador since 1976. We consider that working together is the main key for every development process. This cooperation provides the parties involved, experiences and knowledge from each other.

Our Mission
Plan makes the effort to achieve long lasting improvements in the life quality of our children. We unite cultures to add experiences and knowledge to their lives by:

Allowing Children and their communities to satisfy their basic needs so they can increase their participation in society and receive benefit from them; promoting relationships to increase the understanding and unity between people from different cultures and countries; and promoting Children rights and their interests over the world.

Our vision is of a world in which all children realize their full potential in societies which respect people’s rights and dignity.
