Plan El Salvador

As a humanitarian child-centred organisation working in 45 developing countries, Plan works to help children realise their full potential in life. It is well-known as an organization that promotes the rights of children.

Plan is funded through the generous donations of individuals, companies, trusts and governments in 15 fundraising countries. Although sponsorship is our main source of finance, we also receive some donations from governmental and private entities. Plan has been working in El Salvador since 1976. We believe that working with each community is the main key to effective development. This cooperation allows the parties involved to gain experience and knowledge from one other.

Our mission

Plan achieves long-lasting improvements in the quality of life of children. We enable children and their communities to satisfy their basic needs so they can participate in society. We promote relationships to increase understanding between people from different cultures and we promote children’s rights throughout the world.
