Helping children, young people and adults acquire skills and knowledge

Low awareness of children’s rights among parents means that many children are unable to reach their full potential. Many children are also the victims of domestic violence and abuse.

Plan worked with the Ministry of Education to roll out the Parents’ School program. Here, groups of five sets of parents improve their parenting skills and family relationships, and learn about children’s needs and rights.  In total, more than 1,700 parents participated.
