Building secure, safe and healthy environments for children

In the slum areas where we work, overpopulation and inadequate sanitation systems lead to major waste-disposal problems and health hazards.

We therefore worked with the communities to install 5,000 latrines and set up 80 waste-disposal or waste-recycling systems. Over 24,000 people have benefited from the cleaner environment.
