Give us a minute!
"Through this conference, I learnt that children’s opinions and suggestions are given importance. We are becoming partners in the programs," Sarita from India told us after joining a video conference with Plan's board members.

We value children's views to inform our work at all levels. To integrate children's participation at decision-making levels, a global Video Conference entitled 'Give us a Minute' was organised by Plan UK.
Children from India, Kenya, El Salvador and Vietnam participated in the video conference and discussed their views with Plan International Board members, who met in Washington D.C. last November.
This is what children from the Children's Parliament of CASP/Plan Delhi had to say about the experience:
“This is the first time we participated in front of the camera in this type of video conference. It is a proud moment for us. We thank Plan for the confidence and trust entrusted on us - Children!” Dyothsna
"We asked questions without hesitation to the top Board members of Plan. It just shows how seriously Plan has taken up children's participation,” Manisha Rawat
"Let this initiative not be for the first and last time. It should continue and grow. I thank all the people who planned this program. I'm happy that children’s voices are heard by elders,” Preeti
