Learning

Helping children, youth and adults learn and develop life skills

Primary school education is important for Plan communities in Tanzania. Last year, many schools requested training for their teachers, especially in mathematics.

We therefore worked with Tanzania’s government to improve the quality of maths classes. Workshops were held to give approximately 890 teachers ideas about how to prepare lessons before class and how to teach geometry, fractions and other mathematical concepts.
