Learning

Helping children, youth and adults learn and develop life skills

As well as supporting a number of primary and secondary school projects, a priority for us here has been to introduce early childhood education and care to communities.

Community members took part in the one-and-a-half-day sessions where they received detailed information on the importance of early childhood education and care, particularly for children with disabilities or other special needs.

Children gain real-life business skills
A Plan program focused on the development and improvement of children's lives is proving very successful for many children in Bulawayo. Junior Achievement Programs (JAZ) are implemented in urban areas and aim to educate young people in gaining a better understanding and value of free enterprise, various business practises and general economics
