The closing Panel of the 7th AMYCW’s meeting denounces violence on children
The President of the Expert comity on child’s right from the African Union as well as Members of Burkina Faso’s government and international NGO like Plan who greatly supported this meeting attended the closing Panel where the Young and Children Workers’ Association called for their protection and support against all kinds of abuses on children within their working environement.
Abuses are said to be increased by political and social pressure as well as measures taken against the illegal working conditions.
In the future, close cooperation between the Association, all other children and young workers as well as authorities and NGOs attending to this 7th meeting should allow more efficient actions.
