AMWCY's midappraisal appears to be positive:

After a week of discussions, the AMCYW formulates its midappraisal at a Press Conference meeting on July 15th, 2006.

After three years of hard work, the Mouvement has now extended to sixty-four cities and nineteen countries members. Many more membership requests are actually on hold.

The midappraisal shows the Mouvement has improved its conception and execution of national action plans:

  • National coordinations have been reinforced and participation to radio shows helped to reach a wider range of publics.
  • Partnerships with local and international institutions have grown to be a sucess, allowing the movement to get involved in governmental decisions.
  • The Movement has noted the decreasing rate of young people leaving their villages to go to to city, thanks to many actions done on the field to discourage such solutions.

But the Movement general action needs to go further. Indeed how to get all children that aren't members of the Movement benefit of the same attainments...
