Ouagadougou opened the AMWCY's 7th meeting
This is a very big event that took place in Ouagadougou since Monday 10th of July. After 12 years of hard work, engaged advocacy and support, all for young pepole and children working in developed countries, the AMWCY's was proud to announce it's 7th meeting in Ouagadougou.
The event took place on 10th of July 2006 and ended by the 22nd. The ceremony was chaired by Burkina’s Minister of Social Security & Labour. Distinguished personalities honoured this ceremony by their presence, as well as partners of the Children & Young Workers’ Association/Burkina:

- Aide à l'Enfance Canada
Engagement to support children and young workers to increase their chance of a better future had been strongly expressed by all attendants to this event. Many experiences and practical informations were shared on this occasion.
At the end of the ceremony, guests and participants were gathered at the ministry for the unveiling ceremony of the house for children and Young workers. This special place should bring close assistance to children and young workers. The President of the Children and Young Worker’s Association said this home to be the AMYCW’s 12th birthday present.
