Livelihood

Improving children’s welfare by increasing family income and food security

Working with 560 farmers and agricultural advisors, we organised training courses on anti-erosion and compost production techniques to increase crop yields. The anti-erosion techniques keep topsoil intact and the compost, used as a fertiliser, makes soil more fertile. The farmers have returned to their fields and are using the techniques they learned during training.
