Learning

Helping children, youth and adults learn and develop life skills

Last year, we funded a child-to-child education programme encouraging children to teach their peers about staying healthy and promoting the importance of education.

Plan provided magazines, books and supplies, as well as part-time teaching to 74 schools participating in the program. The books contain stories concentrating on health and education. There are many illustrations and the stories are written for the pleasure of children. The children read the stories, understand them and recount them to siblings and family – thus becoming messengers of health.
