Fruits and vegetables for everybody

For the first time, Plan Guinea Bissau established a strategic alliance with a Governmental Experiment Center for Fruit Trees and Gardening in Quebo, south guinea bissau, with the support of Portuguese Cooperation Agency.

Plan expects this project to input more consciousness on both children and adults, about the importance of agriculture in the development of a national culture of sustainability and alimentary safety, with basic notions on agricultural techniques children will learn how to plant fruit trees and vegetables with less efforts and more effectiveness.

This project also will involve parents in children’s school life, in improving school meals by using vegetables and fruits in their alimentary diet.
