Successful launch of the Tundu Joor musical project

Tundu Dior is a project campaign in Plan Senegal which aims to inform about child's rights through music with both professional and amateur artists. Plan supports this big project which was launched on Saturday 16 December in Thiès, Senegal. A big concert was given on this occasion in Thiès, and an award ceremony for rap artists took place as well.

Following events are:

  • 10 more concerts in each regional capital of Senegal
  • a one year campaign to mobilise the authorities on education, child medical care and child's other rights (freedom of speech, etc.)
  • a series of workshops for both child artists and musicians on child's rights so they can inform efficiently on the issue
  • closing of the event shall take place next year with a national music festival to promote child's rights

An album should follow soon and the first video clip is already being realised. All concerts are free.
