Regional launch of the LWF campaign
The launch of the Learn Without Fear campaign took place in Dakar on October 7th 2008. Local and international journalists as well as Plan Partners and Plan staff came with their children.

A campaign for girls’ enrolment in school was launched by Plan and the ministry of basic education on September 15th, 2008 in the town of Boulsa Namentenga region, northern Burkina Faso.

“School vs Early Marriage”
Plan advocates for girl’s right to education. Therefore, encouraging the retention of girls in schools, and improving their performances remains one of Plan's objectives in the East province of Cameroon.
